another one bites the dust… last year I had the chance to sample a huge kitchen at Binz in Zürich, Switzerland – the inventory was overwhelming. The ‘Yuppi WG’ in an old occupied factory was a ‘kitchen-sound-searcher’s paradiese’. A meeting place for craftsman, artists, brothers and sisters, freeloader, lonely ones, friends, poets, cooks, and those in need of a shower. Thank you to all the people for letting me do my stuff.

About a month ago I had the chance to sample a kitchen from 1565. Only wooden, stone and iron sounds. No electricity.
The “Nutli Hüschi” was built by Christian Nutli and is located in Klosters, Switzerland.
listen to the kitchen:
in this blog I will present my liftime hobby – anatomize kitchen by sampling them and search for their personal sound. finding out more about them and the people living in it. hopefully changing throughout the word. with my Lomo I try to catch the visual atmosphere at each place.
here some general infos about kitchen and their history:
my first one is based in berlin. a workingspace filled with artists, lawyers, architects and others. the kitchen is very small and functional, beeing used every day and right next to the entrance. the day I was recording powersupply shut down and only one electrical socket was working.
close your eyes, listen to the sound and let your imagination visualize the kitchen:
